Go Raise Dough: 2024 Year in Review
As we look back on 2024, our team saw immense success, growth and fundraising opportunities for our online raffle partners. This year, our online fundraising platform helped schools, alumni associations, athletic booster clubs, group organizations, and nonprofits raise funds to support their yearly goals and overall missions.
Read on to dive deeper into our 2024 year in review.
Record-Breaking Queen of Hearts Raffles
In 2024, we helped dozens of organizations with their Queen of Hearts online raffles — with the greatest majority totaling grade schools in both Missouri and Illinois. For schools and parishes who are looking for a long-term, progressive-style raffle, Queen of Hearts raffles remotely engage your community, expand your reach and produce very fruitful results.
Additionally, many of the 2024 Queen of Hearts raffles were first-time partners in 2024. Each raised thousands of dollars for their organizations once the Queen of Hearts card was revealed after multiple weekly drawings. Four organizations emerged as our top performing Queen of Hearts raffles for our 2024 year in review.
- St. Agnes Parish in Bloomsdale, MO had a $749,500 jackpot.
- Assumption Parish in South County St. Louis had a $177,607 jackpot as a first-time partner.
- St. Mary’s South Side Catholic High School alumni association in St. Louis had a $124,000 jackpot.
- Queen of All Saints Parish in South County St. Louis had a $78,911 jackpot as a first-time partner.
Magnifying Impact with Mega Raffles
Our 2024 year in review saw great success in our online mega raffles. A majority of our 2024 mega raffles were tied to grade schools and high schools across Missouri and Illinois. Most of these schools have been Go Raise Dough partners for over 5 years!
Our highest performing mega raffle was Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, who partnered with us for their annual car raffle. This year, they surpassed their record-breaking 2015 raffle, which raised $285,000, and amassed a $380,175 mega raffle total. They raffled off a Camaro to the winning raffle ticket, and had a separate drawing for students where there was a chance to win a second Camaro. The student drawing required students to sell more than 12 tickets to be entered for a chance to win the second vehicle. The highest performing student sold 318 tickets through their personal network!
Additionally, Notre Dame High School in St. Louis broke their Sales Record with total tickets sold of $96,450, and they were the only school to achieve 100% student participation in their mega raffle ticket sales. Each student sold 8 tickets or more in order to have a day off school on November 1st of this past year.
These two success stories are a testament to the power of participation and promotion for a successful community fundraiser.
Highlighting Our Longstanding Partners
Rounding out our 2024 year in review are the accomplishments of some of our long-time partners. Two high schools in St. Louis have partnered with us for their mega raffles for over 10 years. Not only have they broken fundraising records, but they have also amassed gross sales of well over or near $1 million dollars since switching to Go Raise Dough’s online fundraising platform.
Chaminade College Preparatory School began hosting their Rowdy Red Raffle with us back in 2013. The raffle supports a new on-campus project each year such as construction, school furnishings, revamped spaces and more. Since moving their raffle to our online format, they have raised over $1.881 million dollars in 12 years. In 2024 alone, they broke last year’s fundraising record by $18,175 — raising a total $206,150 to benefit their new campus project.
St. Mary’s South Side Catholic High School has partnered with Go Raise Dough for 11 years for their mega cash raffle. Over the past 11 years, they have raised $748,280 for student scholarships, curriculum enhancements, teacher investments and other on campus efforts. In 2024, they raised $14,680 more than 2023 — totaling $61,820.
